Lewis is a physiotherapist and co-founder of Elite Sporting Performance (ESP Physio), a multi-site clinic established in 2012 with co-director Mark McKenzie. The practice has grown to four venues with a full administrative team, delivering physiotherapy across private practice, private medical insurance, and solicitor non-fault work, alongside established sports programmes for Stirling County Rugby Club and Dollar Academy. ESP Physio also delivers private medical insurance services through its sister company Shield Healthcare Solutions.

Lewis began his career after qualifying as a physiotherapist in 2003, following a background in sports science and strength & conditioning. He worked within NHS Forth Valley before progressing into elite sport, including youth football programmes at Motherwell FC and Rangers FC, and later leading the junior academy sports science programme at Celtic FC.

He went on to work with the Scottish Rugby Union, supporting regional development squads and serving as physiotherapist for Scotland's Youth Commonwealth Games 7s team in 2011. Alongside clinical practice, Lewis has competed nationally in Strongman and powerlifting, including winning the Scottish Natural Strongman title and setting a Scottish bench press record. He is a board member of the Scottish Chartered Society of Physiotherapy and a former member of Alloa Rotary.
